Royal Enfield Company was started in 1901 in England, it a oldest motorcycle company still making bikes today. The launch of the Bullet in 1932 was a history that gave one special name and status to the company. In 1955 Royal Enfield came to india by keeping their first factory in chennai with help of Madras motors, and India soon became its biggest market. Later it took by Eicher Motors, the brand blends classic design with modern technology and is seen as a true symbol of timeless motorcycling.

Introduction of Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was launched in August 2022 as lighter weight vehicle and it focused for more city-friendly bike it was built on the J-platform means J series Engines. After launched it  became one of the brand’s best-sellers because of its price, handling, and its design. In 2025, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was came with updates like a slipper clutch, improved suspension, and USB charging, making it even more practical for modern riders.

About J- Platform Engine

The J-Platform engine was introduced in 2020 ,It is a completely fresh design. It’s not just an update also using for new base platform for all future 350 cc Royal Enfields (Meteor, Classic, Bullet, Hunter).

  • Valve Train: Instead of pushrods, the J engine uses a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC).

    • The camshaft sits directly in the cylinder head.
